Rules and Regulations
College Rules and Discipline :
- The college authority is bound to strictly follow all the rules and regulations or decisions adopted by the concerned affiliating bodies.
- Familiarize yourself with all the College Rules and orders notified from time to time.
- Look up the notice board daily as soon as you come to and before you leave the college.
- Get cash receipt for all amounts paid in the college office.
- Observe silence and decorum inside or outside the college premises.
- Use college property with utmost care and do not temper with electric and other fitting.
- Smoking in the college campus is strictly prohibited.
- Park your cycles, scooters in the cycle shed.
- Be regular in attending your classes. A lesson missed is missed for ever.
- Do not move in the corridors and verandahs when classes are on.
- Maintain the sanctity of the Library with quiet decent and helpful conduct.
- Feel proud of your Alma matter and so acquaint yourself as to make it proud of you. A college is a temple of learning.
- Always wear college uniform whenever you come to college.
- Show respect to ladies and be courteous to them.
- Wish your teachers and elders whenever you meet them.
- Apply to the Students’ Mutual Aid Fund of the college if you are a poor and needy student.
Class Attendance :
- As per AHSEC and Gauhati University rules, each and every student must attend minimum 75%
of the total classes held in each subject during the academic session in order to be a regular student.
Students with less than 75% of attendance shall be treated as Non-Collegiate.

Students must be in their uniform during Freshers' Social, Open Sessions and during College Week meetings and Examinations. |
